The Gladiator-specific Backbone mounts to the JT pickup's fiberglass cab roof using two internal plates per side, tied into the factory roll cage. Allows up to 220 lb of rated roof load when combined with a Pioneer Platform. Installs without canopy removal. Engineered to spread weight off the fiberglass roof and into the truck's structural frame.
