On September 17, national parks that charge an entrance fee waive it for Constitution Day, which marks the signing of the U.S. Constitution in Philadelphia in 1787. It is one of the fee-free days the National Park Service designates each year. The waiver covers entrance fees only and, for 2026, applies to U.S. citizens and residents; reservation and timed-entry fees, camping, and tours still apply.
