Kelty is an American outdoor brand founded in 1952 by Dick Kelty, known for some of the first external-frame backpacks and an early entry into family camping shelters. The lineup spans car-camping tents, sleeping bags, kid-carriers, and vehicle-mounted tarps and shelters. Headquartered in Colorado and distributed through REI, Amazon, and a national dealer network.
